Cadillac from late seventies

An elderly, charming lady uses this Cadillac as a shopping bag. Every once in a while this car can be seen at the parking house of the mall Jumbo in Vantaa. Once I asked the lady if she has owned the car since it was new and the answer was yes.

Hieman iäkkäämmän oloinen, sharmikas rouva käyttää tätä Cadillacia kauppakassina. Aina silloin tällöin sen voi bongata Vantaan Jumbon parkkitalosta. Kysyin kerran tältä rouvalta onko auto mahdollisesti ollut hänellä uudesta asti ja hän vastasi myöntävästi.

Dodge Viper

Other ways not so interesting car but because it is not very usual this model of Dodge in Finland, it deserves a place in this blog. Pictures are taken last summer with my old phone. By the way. Very often someone in USA looks this blog right away when I had put something new in here. I can guess it always a same person. (Edit: yes, you. There was right away one show of this blog in USA and if it was you, it was you) If it is, I can only send my greetings from Finland! The winter is coming.

Mitenkään hirveän mielenkiintoinenhan tämä auto ei muuten ole mutta kun se ei kovin yleinen ole tämä Dodgen malli Suomessa niin ansaitkoon paikkansa tässä blogissa. Kuvat otettu viime kesänä vanhalla puhelimellani. Muuten, joku USA:ssa katsoo postaukseni välittömästi sen julkaistuani. Voisin kuvitella että se on joka kerta sama hemmo. Jos näin on niin enpä oikeastaan muuta voi kuin lähettää terkkuja sinne rapakon taakse. täältä Suomesta. Talvi on tulossa.

Plymouth Belvedere from late fifties

This Plymouth is photographed, once again, at the parking place of FTS, Vantaa. Near the shop that repairs and restores the jet engines of aircraft (still, hope so). It was cloudy and grey weather and my Nokia Lumia 800 was not taking the most perfect pictures.

Tämä Plymouth on kuvattu, jälleen kerran, Finnair Technical Servicen parkkipaikalla Vantaalla. Tarkemmin MUTE:n parkkiksella. Siellä korjataan ja kunnostetaan lentokoneiden suihkumoottoreita (toivottavasti vielä). Oli pilvinen ja harmaa päivä ja minun Nokia Lumia 800 ei ollut ihan parhaalla kuvien otto päällä.

MINI

Saw this Mini at the Gas Station nearby (Teboil Kaivoksela) when I was picking up my Toyota from the service. At the left in lower picture you can see my second car Volvo 740 year model 1990.

Tämä Mini oli läheisellä Kaivokselan Teboililla josta sen bongasin kun olin hakemassa huollosta omaa Toyotaani. Alemman kuvan vasemmassa laidassa näkyy kakkosautoni Volvo 740 vuosimallia 1990.

Morgan in Liberty Of The Seas

It was not actually the purpose of this blog to show the cars that are not in use but while I make the rules, I can also make exeptions. So, this Morgan was inside of the ship and I thought it was worth of taking the pictures of it. The lighting is not perfect in these pictures but try to deal with that.

Itse asiassa ei ollut tämän blogin tarkoituksena esitellä autoja jotka eivät ole käytössä ja liikenteessä mutta kun kerran itse laadin säännöt niin voin niistä myös poiketa. Tämä Morgan oli näytillä laivan sisällä ja ajattelin että se oli kuvaamisen arvoinen. Valaistus ei ole aivan täydellinen tässä kuvassa mutta koettakaa tulla toimeen sen asian kanssa.

The next port of call of our mediterranean cruise was Villefranche. From there we visited Monaco and of course had to go to Monte Carlo Casino to see if there was anything to take photo of. Well some Audi was first to catch in camera memory.

Seuraava vierailusatama välimeren risteilyllämme oli Villefranche josta käsin vierailimme Monacossa. Tietysti piti sitten käydä katsomassa onko Monte Carlon Kasinon edessä mitään kuvattavaa. No, ensimmäisenä tarttui kameran muistiin joku Audi.

VW kleinbuss, nice parking

Last week I was on Mediterranean cruise and the first port of call was Toulon, France. This is a good example of French parking. The picture is taken at the gate to the parking area which obviously was full because the drivers of these two cars found a suitable place for their cars straight at the gate. By the way, nicely worn VW.

Vietin viime viikon välimeren risteilyllä ja ensimmäinen vierailusatama oli Toulon Ranskassa. Sieltä löytyi hyvä esimerkki Ranskalaisesta tyylistä parkkeerata autoja. Tämä kuva on otettu parkkeerausalueen portilta. Alue nähtävästi oli täynnä mutta autojen kuljettajat olivat löytäneet loistopaikat autoilleen aivan sisäänmenon lähettyviltä. Hienosti patinoitunut VW kylläkin.

2CV in frost

We are again at FTS parking place. It's getting colder and there are hardly any old or other ways interesting cars on the roads. This exception was anyway found and here you have it. I understand that 2CV is propably not among the best winter cars but the brave driver is not afraid of the winter.

Ja FTS:n parkkiksella ollaan taas. Kelit kylmenevät ja liikenteessä näkee yhä harvemmin vanhoja tai muuten kiinnostavia autoja. Tämä poikkeus löytyi kuitenkin vielä ja tässä se on näytillä. Ymmärtääkseni 2CV ei ole parhaiden talviautojen joukossa mutta tämän auton kuljettajaa talvi ei pelota.

Chevrolet Impala 1960 (and Opel GT)

Recently there has been a lot of French readers in my blog. Welcome!! In fact after US, Finns and Russians, the French are now at the fourth place at the number of readers in this blog. Amazing while the French cars are not so much present in here. I will try to fix this in future.

Itse asiassa Ranskalaiset ovat nyt neljännellä sijalla katsojien lukumäärässä Yhdysvaltalaisten, Suomalaisten ja Venäläisten jälkeen. Hämmästyttävää sikäli että täällä ei kovin montaa Ranskalaisvalmisteista autoa ole näkyvissä. Yritän korjata tämän tulevaisuudessa.

Camaro "Off-Road"

Approximately two months writing this blog and the day before yersterday one thousand wiews of this blog fulfilled. I'm not sure but maybe it was someone from Brazil. On that day there was only three wiewers and two of them were from there. That was first time that someone from Brazil was looking at my blog. Welcome.

Buick -28 (?)

This beautiful Buick took part in weddings where I was singing with the choir last saturday in Helsinki. The bride is member of our choir. I really don't know if this car is model 1928 but must be near that.

Tämä kaunis Buick oli kuljetuvälineenä häissä viime lauantaina (eilen)joissa olin kuoron mukana laulamassa. Morsian on kuoromme jäsen. En nyt ole aivan varma tuosta vuosimallista mutta lähellä se kuitenkin on.

Plymouth Belvedere sedan -62

New phone (Nokia Lumia 800), better pictures. This Plymouth was photographed at the parking place of the hardware store K-Rauta at Vantaa. I've seen this car there many times so I think the owner might be working there. The more I look this car the more the curves of the car pleases my eyes. It's got that something.

Uusi puhelin (Nokia Lumia 800) ja samalla parani kuvien laatu. Tämä Plymouth osui okulaariin Vantaan K-raudan parkkipaikalla. Olen nähnyt tämän auton usein siellä joten omistaja saattaa olla K-Raudassa töissä. Aiemmin tällainen oli minusta jopa ruma mutta mitä enemmin katson, sitä paremmin auton muodot sopivat silmilleni. Tässä on sitä jotakin.
